SGT German Private Equity processes the following categories of your personal data as part of the management of investor matters: Contact data (e.g. name or email address), information about your shares (e.g. number of shares, type of shares) and information about general meetings (e.g. the attendance list of a general meeting which in case of your participation also includes your name).

SGT German Private Equity only processes those personal data which are required for the fulfilment of the legal obligations of the German Stock Corporation Act and other laws. These data processing ist permitted according to article 6(1)(c) of the “Datenschutzgrundverordnung” (DSGVO).

Personal data, concerning you, will in general not be submitted to third parties. As an exception, third parties can also get access to these data if they are mandated by SGT German Private Equity to provide services in the scope of managing of investor matters. These are auditors, consultants and general meeting agencies. These service providers only get access to personal data to the extent that it is necessary to fulfill their service.

The data mentioned above will be deleted when they are no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the legal obligations and no legal retention obligation is applicable. The attendance list of a general meeting will be deleted two years after the completion of the general meeting only, certain powers of attorney after three years only.

You have the right to receive disclosure about the personal data saved about you free of charge upon request. Additionally, you have the right of correction of incorrect data, the right of limitation of the processing of data which have been processed too broadly and the right of deletion of personal data illegitimately processed, respectively, saved for too long (as long as they do not collide with legal retention obligations and other reasons according to article 17(3) DSGVO). In addition, you have the right of receiving of all data transferred to us in a conventional format (right auf “data portability”).
